Union Cemetery

Union Cemetery, located on 230th Street just southeast of town, has provided a beautiful site to honor loved ones for more than 130 years. A 1955 history of the Protestant Union Cemetery notes that, following its closing, a number of burial remains were moved from Protestant Union Cemetery to Early Union Cemetery. The city-owned and operated cemetery gradually expanded and now has more than 1,400 recorded burials. Numerous veterans of the Civil War and following wars have been laid to rest in Union Cemetery.

Plots are available for $400 per interment space. A discount of $100 will be taken off if 5 spaces are purchased.
