The City Planning and Zoning Commission consists of five members appointed by the Council. The Commission members are required to be residents of the City and cannot hold any elective office in the City Government.
The Commission is charged with but not limited to overseeing City Zoning regulations, making recommendations to the City Council to amend or create new zoning regulations, to make recommendations for improvements to publicly owned land and right of ways, and review and make comments on plats.
